This year the Warlords hosted another fine convention, Salute 07 at the Excel Centre in Docklands. Several club members attended this year, with Simon running the Lazer Tag stall, a gun range with several nasties trying to attack you, including Aliens, Cybermen and Darleks. I gave it a try myself, and it was a hoot, sadly I couldn't get anyone else to don the blue cap. All throughout the show were stands with very impressive diaramas and battle scenes dipicted, along with several participation games. Tindalos and myself had a go at Confrontation, a fantasy miniatures game which was fun. We even bumped in to a few old faces around the place. If your interested in seeing some of the sites of this years show, have a look at the Gaming Section in the Gallery. I've uploaded all the good pictures of the day, feel free to take a look, they start on page 2. |
